For reasons known to all, this year, in which at Hotel Acapulco Lloret we celebrate our 50th anniversary, has been one of the most unusual and challenging seasons in the history of tourism. Despite the fact that, during 2020, we will remain closed as a result of this situation, it has helped us to renew ourselves and prepare ourselves to offer the best of us next season.

As you well know, since 2012 we have started a comprehensive renovation project of the hotel facilities. That same year we focused on making the necessary improvements to adapt to the 4**** category and, since then, we have not stopped investing in the improvement of our facilities and our customer service.

In 2018 we completely renovated the hotel restaurant area, integrating a terrace area and a chill-out space based on a modern, fresh and tropical style line.

Following the same line, in 2019 we carried out a comprehensive reform of the sixth floor of the hotel, thus offering 12 superior rooms that give off fresh air thanks to their spacious distribution and decoration based on bright colors. During the same season we inaugurated the completely renovated entrance and La Botigueta, our Summer Shop that offers fashion items for the summer. In addition, at the restoration level, we were accredited by the Catalan Health Agency within the AMED Program.

During this 2020 season we have carried out a comprehensive reform of the reception, hall, lobby, bar and other common areas on the lower floor of the hotel. In addition, from the 2021 season, our clients will have at their disposal a new trunk with lockers, a room to park bicycles, a fitness room and a massage area. Finally, at the business center level, the work has enabled a second meeting room on the lower floor.

With this work we have moved away from the classical aesthetics that predominated until now to approach a totally Mediterranean style in which the luminosity, natural elements such as wood, sea colors, vegetation and details stand out. This action has meant the most important improvement in the history of the hotel and with it, our clients will have more spaces in the same facilities, thus increasing the satisfaction of their needs during their stay.

Finally, we want to convey that in 2021 we will reopen our doors with more enthusiasm and strength than ever and, above all, with well-charged batteries.
