Hidden treasures of Lloret

Hidden treasures of Lloret

This month from Hotel Acapulco we want to recommend you some hidden treasures of Lloret de Mar that sometimes, due to not to know “where to go”, being afraid of unknown or going far from the biggest beaches, we don’t pay attention to them. We think it’s worth to take proffit of some of the days you stay with us with the family to visit some of these places.

These are our three first recommendations:

Balcony of Santa Clotilde

We start with one of our main dishes in Lloret. The gardens of Santa Clotilde are more than known and you’ll find information of it in our blog. To get to the gardens you can go walking (just 10 minuts far from the Hotel) or taking the bus. Once inside the gardens, you must take the path on your right and going straight down until you get to the Mermaids Square. You must continue going down you’ll finally see the balcony on your right. It’s a gardened space where you can stay relaxing while you enjoy the landscape sorrounding you. On your right, you’ll see Sa Boadella beach, Santa Cristina little further and Blanes. And, in front of you, the Mediterranean Sea. It’s really worth to visit.

Cala dels Frares

This small beach is placed five minuts far from main Lloret’s beach. Taking the Coast path on your left and sorrounding the rocks further than Castle d’en Plaja, it’s the first small beach you’ll find after crossing the tunnel. It’s been considered one of the 5 most beautiful beaches in Spain and one of the most beautiful beach in the world. We recommend the visit of this beach at sunshine or sunset. You’ll love it!

Casa Garriga

The “indian” past of Lloret takes form in this museum, also known us Museo del Mar (Sea museum). The history of those who left the town to get fortune in America and of those who get lucky and return with fortune is fixed in some of the houses of Lloret. If you visit the museum you’ll visit also this house being mainly untouched and you’ll discover a part of the history of Lloret that probably you’ll find it interesting.

Soon we will recommend you three more spaces very special for us that will become your staying into something also special.

We wait for you in Hotel Acapulco!
