Fitur 2012. Hotel Acapulco Lloret

One week ago, FITUR 2012 was held in Madrid, one of the major European Tourism Fairs, as London WTM, in Berlin or Milan… this year has been really noticed the decline of exhibitor’s number. Many countries argue their not attend because their new ways of promotion, like France or Switzerland (as well as their countries budget cut?) and these were some the reasons of this low participation in stands or exhibitors.

Personally, that was my first year like a fair exhibitor... nearly one year ago; I began my cooperation from the Hotel, and by myself becoming the representative for Catalonia and Andorra, with the company AGA Ihm. From the point of view as a Hotel, already, I can confirm that our cooperation has reported better ratios (REVPAR and ADR (+12%)), can get a medium season occupancy overall of the 77,79%, and an overall stay from the guest of 5 nights for the medium and high season. These results allows me to confirm surely that a good commercial marketing mix strategy, between a traditional method and new technologies, and a right OTAs and other B2B distribution channels management; it could be really profit when from the both sides of the market we can keep the rates parity and our guests trust in us. Thanks to our hotel’s excellent professional staff, we have improved our guests trust on-line (position 10 from 135 hotels in Lloret at TRIPADVISOR). With the nice feelings from FITUR 2012, the daily happiness being close to our old and new clients, we’ll continue by their site.
