Today we would like to explain you about what’s hidden in the pictures of the new rooms.

From Hotel Acapulco and related to our improvement plan, this year we wanted to decorated some of our rooms with artistic pictures reflecting some especial aspect of our city.

We thint that this is a good way to attract you to a city like Lloret de Mar, hiding many and near treasures.

Canyelles

Canyelles is one of the biggest beach in Lloret, and the only beach with a marina. To get there, you have to take your car direction to Tossa de Mar. Two kilometers far from Lloret, you have to turn on the right and descend direction to the beach. It’s also possible to go walking through Coast Path, althogh you will have to abandon in some places and continue through the streets of the urbanization.

Giants

Catalunya is land of giants. The giant groups (“colles”, in catalan) are part of the culture and festivals in our country, and Lloret is so on. The “colla” of Lloret has become strong during the last years and a good prove of it is the celebration this year of “Vila Gegantera” (Giants town) in Lloret. It’s worth to come and enjoy the festival and see the giants dancing accompanied by “gralles” wind musical instrument characteristic of these groups.

Cala dels Frares

The last year, it was considered one of the five most beautiful beaches in Spain, and curiously, it’s placed just a few meters from the main beach in Lloret. To get there, you have to take the Coast Path from Castle d’en Plaja and walk for just three minutes. It has a characteristic structure of a Costa Brava beach. You will enjoy the sunshine and sunset from this beach.

It’s worth to come to our city and enjoy of these and other places as these. Soon we will give you more information about the other four photographies of Lloret in our rooms.
