Safety Plan Hotel Acapulco Lloret 2020

In 1970 Hotel Acapulco opened its doors and, from the very beginning, our priority has been ensuring the safety and well-being of all our customers and employees.

Due to the extraordinary situation experienced these recent months, we have had to reinvent ourselves in order to adapt to this new scenario, following the recommendations of the competent authorities and the World Health Organization and, above all, through a general and sectorial training of the post-Covid19 situation in the tourism sector. All the employees of Hotel Acapulco have carried out these trainings in order to be fully prepared.

In addition, in collaboration with the risk prevention company and a reference laboratory, we have developed a contingency plan with the following safety and hygiene measures to provide a safe environment to enjoy your getaway this summer:


STAFF

  • Training of all staff on general and sectorial hygiene and prevention measures.
  • Staff equipped with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and temperature controls
  • Measures of social distancing between customers and employees

RECEPTION

  • Implementation of an online check-in service through the Booking Channel via email
  • Instant messaging service (WhatsApp) to resolve any questions during your stay avoiding social contact
  • Prioritization of contactless credit card payment systems
  • Disinfection of shared items after each use: POS, magnetic keys...
  • Temperature controls
  • Placement of information screens to prevent document manipulation
  • Availability of hydro-alcoholic gel and masks for customers

ROOMS

  • Thorough cleaning and disinfection of rooms, increasing their frequency
  • Special attention to equipment with a high level of use or contact (telephones, taps, hangers, TV controls...)
  • Daily ventilation of the rooms
  • The rooms will be free between stays for the necessary time to disinfect them properly
  • Cleaning and disinfection of cleaning carts after each shift
  • Checklist to verify the correct room cleaning

COMMON AREAS

  • Controlled capacity
  • Thorough cleaning and disinfection of common areas increasing their frequency
  • Hydro-alcoholic dispenser points habilitation
  • Increase in the ventilation frequency in common areas
  • Lift capacity limitation
  • Thorough cleaning and disinfection of common bathrooms

RESTAURANT AND BAR

  • Limited capacity with social distancing control measures
  • Assignment of restaurant tables for each customer
  • Cleaning and disinfection of tables and chairs after each use
  • Disinfection of utensils and facilities after each service
  • Increase in the cleaning and disinfection frequency in these areas

SWIMMING POOL

  • Limited capacity with safety distance between hammocks
  • Intensification of the maintenance and disinfection of the pool water
  • Increase in the cleaning and disinfection frequency of outdoor furniture
